Hi, I’m Nicole, a long-time home interiors and organisation enthusiast and the heart behind this blog.

My love for home styling began as a young child, when I discovered how simply rearranging my bedroom could instantly lift my mood. Now, as a homeowner and busy mum to an energetic little one, that love has grown into a passion for creating spaces that feel calm, joyful and all while remaining functional and easy to maintain for the realities of family life.

Raising a young family comes with endless to-do lists and I believe our homes should work with us, not against us. I’m all about finding simple, manageable ways to style and organise your space so it feels lovely to be in, without adding more stress or be difficult to achieve with the little free time we have. I believe our surroundings affect the way we feel and so why not create spaces in your homes that feel good to be in, even the smallest of changes.

Here at The Tranquil Nest, you’ll find simple home styling tips, easy DIYs, and practical organisation ideas that are budget-friendly, family-focused, and designed to help you feel a sense of calm and allow you to spend more time on what matters most which is making memories with your family.
