Hi, I’m Nicole, a long time home interiors and organisation enthusiast and the heart behind The Tranquil Nest.
My love for home styling began in childhood, when I discovered how simply rearranging my bedroom could instantly lift my mood. What started as a small creative outlet has grown into a deep passion for creating spaces that feel calm, joyful and supportive of everyday life.
Now, as a homeowner, busy mum to an energetic toddler and current Interior Design student, I understand just how important it is for a home to not only look beautiful, but to feel peaceful, functional and supportive of the season of life you’re in.
Raising a young family comes with endless to-do lists and I believe our homes should work with us, not against us. I’m passionate about finding simple, manageable ways to style and organise spaces so they feel lovely to be in without adding extra stress or becoming unrealistic to maintain.
Through both my studies and plenty of real-life trial and error in my own home, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of how thoughtful design approaches such as space planning and using the fundamental principles of design including balance, harmony, rhythm, emphasis, proportion, and scale can create a home that is not only beautiful, but feels intentional, peaceful and functional.
Here at The Tranquil Nest, I share simple home styling tips and practical organisation solutions that are budget-friendly and family-focused to help others create a home that supports everyday life and allows them to spend more time on what matters most - building memories with family.
I’ll also be sharing my interior design studies including projects and other learnings as I slowly build my portfolio and grow into my future career as an interior designer.
